Toni Robertson

Toni Robertson has been a member of LULAC Council 10 in eastern Iowa for six years. She is currently the Council’s vice president. Council 10 awarded her with its Woman of the Year Award in 2013.

Robertson has been very active with her council, chairing the September Fiesta, helping with the queen contest, and serving on several committees that include the scholarship banquet committee, closing ceremony for veterans’ wreath laying and the VIVA committee.

Robertson believes issues are not addressed and liberties we take for granted do not happen by themselves. It takes a strong community to make those things happen, which is why she became active in LULAC and is supportive of its strong efforts in improving education.
